Bamgwabi Terms of Service

Effective date: September 30, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Lumi (루미, the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of “Bamgwabi” (the “Service”), the saju and tarot reading service provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• “Service” means the features that calculate saju and compatibility from information entered by users, such as birth date, birth time, and gender, or draw tarot cards, and display the results as videos and text, along with all related features.
• “Paid result” means a detailed reading provided after payment following a free result.
• “Account” means a user account created by signing in with Kakao, Google, or Apple.

Article 3 (Publication and Amendment of Terms)

• The Company makes these Terms available for viewing at any time on the Service.
• The Company may amend these Terms as long as the changes comply with applicable laws. The Company will announce any changes and their effective date in the Service starting 7 days before the effective date, or 30 days beforehand if the changes are unfavorable to users.
• If you continue to use the Service after the effective date, you are considered to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Accounts)

• Users can create an account by signing in with Kakao, Google, or Apple. Some parts of the service are also available without signing in.
• You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
• You may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else.
• You may request account deletion at any time.

Article 5 (Service Description and Nature)

• Readings turn results calculated from the information users enter and the interpretive rules of myeongri and tarot into easy-to-read text. The same information may be interpreted differently depending on the method used.
• Readings don't guarantee the future and aren't medical, legal, or investment advice.
• Your results may differ if the information you enter isn't accurate. You're responsible for entering accurate information.

Article 6 (Payment and Refunds for Paid Readings)

• The price and content of paid readings are shown on the payment screen.
• Paid readings are digital content whose delivery begins as soon as you pay. The Company will tell you this before payment. Once delivery begins, withdrawal from the purchase is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
• If a paid reading isn't properly delivered due to the Company's fault or a service error (you don't receive the reading or it isn't properly delivered), contact us within 7 days of payment. Regardless of Paragraph 2, we'll verify the issue and issue a refund or provide the reading again.
• Paid readings begin appearing on screen immediately after payment, and all reading text is completed within 1–2 minutes. Paid readings purchased by logged-in members are stored on our servers for 1 year from the payment date and can be viewed again in Saved readings on any device. They’re deleted after 1 year. Guests can view the full reading only on the final results screen. Saved readings are available only to logged-in members.
• If a minor makes a payment without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or their legal representative may cancel the payment.
• You can request a refund using the contact details below. Refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take 3–7 business days, depending on the payment processor or card issuer.
• For refunds of paid readings purchased through App Store billing in the iPhone app, request a refund from Apple under its refund policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).
• For refunds of paid readings purchased through Google Play billing in the Android app, request a refund from Google Play under its refund policy.

Article 7 (User Obligations)

• When entering another person's date of birth or other information, take care not to infringe their rights. Don't use the results to defame or harass them.
• Do not interfere with the normal operation of the service, including by using automated programs or making an unusually large number of requests.
• Do not copy, distribute, or sell videos, images, or text from the service without authorization, except through the service’s sharing features.
• Users who purchase a reading may leave a star rating and a one-line review (from October 8, 2026). Reviews may appear in the Service without a name. The Company may hide or delete reviews containing profanity, defamation, advertising, or another person's personal information.

Article 8 (Changes to or Suspension of the Service)

The Company may change the Service or suspend all or part of it for operational or technical reasons. If it discontinues the entire Service, it will give 30 days' notice.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

Rights to the service and its content, including videos, images, and text, belong to the company or the respective rights holders. You may use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Article 10 (Personal Information)

We process users' personal information Privacy Policyas described in the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

• We are not liable for damages caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters or telecommunications outages.
• You are responsible for any decisions you make based on reading results and their consequences.
• We are not obligated to intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to use of the Service will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms take effect on September 30, 2026 (on September 30, a 7-day refund request period and the delivery method and storage period for paid readings were added to Article 6).

Announced October 1, 2026 · Effective October 8 — Added reviews (star ratings and one-line reviews) to Article 7.

Announced October 1, 2026 · Effective immediately — Changed Article 6 so non-members can view readings only on the final results screen, and Saved readings are available only to signed-in members (changes made before paid purchases became available).

Announced October 2, 2026 · Effective immediately — Added refund instructions for App Store and Google Play payments to Article 6.
